When a sidewalk has more broken flags than good ones, or a new building needs a frontage from scratch, a full installation is the right call. Easyfix Concrete NY installs new sidewalks across NYC: demolition and haul-away, base preparation, forms, tree pits and a concrete pour that meets the NYC DOT standard detail.
Our crew has installed sidewalks in front of brownstones, apartment buildings and storefronts for over 20 years, and we handle every permit and inspection along the way.

How We Do It
-
Site survey
We measure the frontage, note tree pits, cellar doors and utilities.
-
Permits
We file the DOT sidewalk construction permit and any tree-related approvals.
-
Tear-out & pour
Old concrete is removed, base compacted and the new sidewalk poured, usually in one visit.
-
Inspection support
We support the final DOT inspection and hand over a compliant sidewalk.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a new sidewalk cost in NYC?
Full replacement packages typically run $3,000 to $5,000+ depending on frontage length, tree pits and access. We give a fixed written price after measuring.
How long does sidewalk installation take?
Most frontages are demolished and poured within one to two days. Concrete needs 24 to 48 hours before foot traffic.
Can you work around street trees?
Yes. Work near a street tree needs a Parks Tree Work Permit as well as the DOT permit, and the City no longer allows cutting the roots of City trees, so we form around the roots and protect the tree pit. If you own a 1 to 3 family home, check the City’s Trees and Sidewalks program first: DOT does not charge those owners for damage caused by City trees.
